They will play Slippery Rock, a 2-1 winner over host Kutztown, on Friday(11-18) at College of St. Rose, in Albany, N.Y.. This is the first time the Rock has reached the NCAAfinal 16.

The Panthers won their 20th(20-2-1), the Tigers fell to their fourth loss(17-4-1).Hannah Wilhelm lead the Panthers with a goal and an assist and Maddie Layman scored for the Tigers, in front of about 500. The Panthers will play Peters Twp. in the next round, the Indians blanked State College, 3-0.

West Chester shutout Edinboro, 2-0, at the Phillipsburg Soccer Stadium to set the Championship PSAC match between the Golden Rams and the Vulcans for Noon Sunday.

WVU Women won the Big East title for the second straight season, beating Louisville(2-0)and now advance to the NCAA tournament

In Major League Soccer, New York defeated FC Dallas in a 2-game aggregate, before dropping their Semifinal aggregate series to Los Angeles, 3-1(2-1 leg 2). David Beckham lead the Galaxy in the second leg.

L.A. will meet Real Salt Lake, after RSL defeated Seattle, 3-2 in their aggregate series-winning in Salt Lake(3-0).

Also, Sporting Kansas City dominated Colorado,(4-0), in the first round aggregate series, and will hostHouston in the Eastern Conference Final.

Both MLS Conference Championships can be seen on Sunday, on espn-2. Eastern will be at 5:30and the Western at 9 PM.

In the AMC, Point Park Men defeatedDaemen, 3-2,on Friday at 2 at Century United Soccer Field. Alex Sala scored twice and Jack Pilkinton added a pair of assist for the Pioneers. The Wildcats made it close with two goals from Clifford.

The Pioneers(7-1-1, 12-4-1)take onRoberts Wesleyan(7-2, 9-9-1)on Sat, at 1 PM.

The CalU Women defeated Bloomsburg, 3-1, in front of 208 at Phillipsburg Soccer Stadium.

The Vulcans will next take on Edinboro, a 2-0 winner over Indiana(IUP), in front of 220 at Sox Harrison Stadium. Becca Costello(12) and Samantha Kaiser(33) scored for the Fighting Scots. Kate Stuckbauer earned the win.

It is their second time to the Semifinals in their history.

Slippery Rock edged West Chester, 1-0, before 198 at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Kera Mullins scored in the 69th from Lucy Hannon. Lisa Rodgers earned the shutout win for the Rock.

The Rock will next take on Kutztown, a 2-1 winnervs Gannon. The PSAC Semifinals take place on Friday(tba)

Point Park Men have clinched home field advantage in the American Mideast Conference post-season and the Women have clinched the final playoff spot!
